Compliance Officer

We are looking for a Compliance Officer who will report to the Head of Safety and Compliance, and be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in a safety and compliance environment, knowledge of applicable EASA regulations, and a clean police conduct to allow for the issuing of an airport security pass.
 
Responsibilities:
 

• Support the Head of Safety & Compliance in maintaining compliance monitoring programs as required by all applicable regulations and standards
• Coordinate and conduct internal compliance audits within respective operational departments
• Disseminate information in a timely manner to management and non-management operational personnel
• Support the Head of Safety & Compliance in developing and maintaining internal audit plans and checklists
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions resulting from audit findings
• Support the Head of Safety & Compliance in monitoring all contracted and sub-contracted activities, which may involve conducting audits/inspections, and when required, traveling abroad
• Ensure robust and timely corrective actions resulting from the audit program are accomplished
• Liaise with the Competent Authority when required
• Maintain internal compliance documentation
• Support the Head of Safety & Compliance with ad hoc projects
• Develop and deliver training, as required
• Develop presentations, as required
• Willingness to travel abroad to undergo training

 
Qualifications and Experience:
 

• Fluent in English language both written and oral
• Proficient with the use of MS Office applications
• Experience in a safety and compliance environment is preferable
• Knowledge of applicable EASA regulations
• Clean police conduct allowing for the issuing of an airport security pass
