Human Resources Executive

Our Client is a global generic pharmaceutical company that specialises in the development and manufacture of both APIs (45) and FDFs (20). They are looking for a Human Resources Executive to join their team.
 
The Human Resources Executive is a pivotal role within the organization, reporting directly to the HR Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for managing payroll processes, HR metrics, and overseeing HR-related systems. Additionally, this role will provide essential human resource support across all departments.

Location: Birzebugga, Malta.


Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and processing of monthly payroll and handling wage-related queries.
  • Maintenance of time and attendance software and all HR-related systems.
  • Compilation, maintenance, and submission of HR monthly metrics and ad-hoc reports.
  • Daily reporting and follow-up on sick leave absences.
  • Maintenance of employee files ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Organization of HR-related activities and events.
  • Addressing daily HR issues and providing HR support to employees as needed.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a human resources and payroll environment.
  • HR-related diploma and / or certificate(s).
  • Strong knowledge of HR and payroll policies, procedures, and local employment legislation.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and tools.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word and Excel).
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Maltese language is advantageous.
  • A true people person with a passion for supporting employees.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of creating efficient administrative processes.
  • Critical thinker capable of analyzing situations and making informed decisions.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a 'let’s get things done' attitude.
