Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for 3 separate brands froming a Group's portfolio to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
 
The objective of the role is to manage and coordinate all marketing related matters, lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products, and liaise with media organizations and advertising agencies, as necessary.
 
The Marketing Manager should also be a leader in the marketing sector with solid business acumen since the role calls for constant networking with the senior management to determine targets, budgets and pricing strategies for various products with the goal of maximizing the organization’s profit margins.

The Marketing Manager reports directly to the General Manager of the company.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing all marketing activities within the Marketing Department
  • Developing a marketing strategy for the organization in line with company objectives
  • Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities
  • Collaborate with the Sales Department
  • Overseeing the company’s marketing budget
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns
  • Manage and improve sales lead generation campaigns
  • Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
  • Preparing online and print marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications
  • Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
  • Report on return on investment and key performance metrics
  • Further develop the range of own branded products
  • Lead all areas of content generation and production across all platforms
  • Strict observance to company confidentiality and professionalism
  • Attends and actively participates in Management Meetings
  • Attends training programs as instructed by the company, during or outside office hours
  • Any other duties as may be requested from time to time by the General Manager
    
Requirements:
  • Degree in Marketing
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing environment (preferrably, within FMCG sector)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Able to work on own initiative and making decisions swiftly and confidently
  • Excellent time-management and business acumen
  • Team management experience
