Head Chef

Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Recipe Development
  • Overseeing and participating in food preparation, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Supervising the kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Leading and inspiring the culinary team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all dishes meet or exceed expectations.
  • Address customer feedback and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
  
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a café or similar food establishment.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of café-style cuisine, including breakfast and lunch offerings.
  • Demonstrated creativity in menu planning and recipe development.
  • Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
