OPEX Project Manager

Our Client is a global generic pharmaceutical industry that specialises in the development and manufacture of both APIs and FDFs.
In Malta, for over 20 years, they have two factories, located side-by-side, in the Hal Far Industrial Estate, holding EU GMP certification and US FDA approval.
They are looking for an OPEX Project Manager or their production site.
Responsabilities:
- Program Alignment: Work alongside and reporting to the Operational Excellence Champion to translate strategic improvement goals into actionable project plans.
- Joint Planning: Co-develop timelines, milestones, and priorities to ensure program objectives are clear and achievable.
- Execution Support: Facilitate day-to-day project activities, ensuring that teams have the tools, resources, and guidance needed to stay on track.
- Issue Escalation: Identify potential roadblocks early and partner with the Operational Excellence Champion to resolve challenges effectively.
- Communication: Ensure transparent and consistent updates between the Operational Excellence Champion, teams, and stakeholders to maintain alignment.
Requirements:
- In possession of a higher qualification in Sciences (Life Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics) or Engineering.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
- Previous experience in a similar role, as well as knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma will be considered an asset.
- Extremely organised and possess excellent communications skills.
- Able to lead and motivate.
- Able to think critically and a good problem solver.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail.
- Results oriented and will display an attitude that reflects our Company values.
Package:
- Salary: €40,000-44,000 with annual salary review at end of each year
