Our Client is a global generic pharmaceutical industry that specialises in the development and manufacturing of both APIs and FDFs. Their solid dosage form site in Malta (EU GMP, US FDA & ANVISA approved) is expanding, and they are seeking motivated and capable individuals to join their growing team.
As a Quality Control Analyst you will be reporting to the QC Manager and will be responsible for carrying out analysis on raw materials, APIs, blends, finished and packaging products, according to approved monographs or methods using various analytical equipment within an GMP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sampling, analyzing, and reporting the quality of raw materials, APIs and Finished Dosage Form products.
- Perform thorough analysis: Physical Testing (UV-Spec, IR, KF),Chromatography (HPLC, UPLC, GC) and Dissolution.
- Compiling and interpreting test results.
- Performing equipment calibration and confirmatory analysis.
- Adhere strictly to established quality control procedures and protocols (SOPs), following regulatory guidelines and industry standards to guarantee product integrity and compliance.
- Adhere rigorously to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) throughout all laboratory activities, maintaining accurate, legible, and contemporaneous records of all testing procedures.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry or related scientific subject, ideally with experience within a pharmaceutical environment.
- Able to think critically and good problem solver.
- Extremely organised and possess excellent communication skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail.
