Flight Operations Officer

About the Role
On behalf of a well-established private jet company, we are currently recruiting a Senior Flight Operations Officer to oversee global flight operations and ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of worldwide business aviation flights. This role requires an experienced aviation professional who thrives in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment and can confidently manage complex flight operations and operational decision-making.
  
Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead global IFR/VFR and EROPS flight planning, ensuring compliance with applicable aviation regulations and operational requirements
• Conduct flight feasibility assessments and coordinate worldwide overflight and landing permits, airport slots, and operational clearances
• Oversee ground handling arrangements, fuel, aircraft support services, and passenger requirements
• Manage passenger documentation, customs, immigration, and regulatory requirements
• Analyze NOTAMs, METARs, TAFs, weather, geopolitical, and security information to support operational decision-making
• Monitor global air traffic flow, ATFM restrictions, and operational disruptions, providing timely updates to flight crews
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to optimize operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Manage flight schedules and operational data within flight scheduling systems

  
Requirements

• Previous experience in Flight Operations, Flight Dispatch, or Operational Control within business or commercial aviation
• Strong knowledge of international aviation regulations, flight planning, and operational compliance
• Experience with flight planning software such as PPS and GURU W&B is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, 24/7 operational environment
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Permanent EU work and residence permit
