Maintenance Manager

ur client is a global generic pharmaceutical manufacturing company that specialises in the development and manufacturing of both APIs and FDFs.

Established in Malta for more than 20 years, the company has two factories, located side-by-side, in the Hal Far Industrial Estate, holding EU GMP certification and US FDA approval.

The company is looking for an Maintenance Manager to manage all maintenance activities of their API and FDF production sites and report to the Head of Engineering.


 Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of technicians supporting both companies to ensure timely and effective interventions.
• Managing the preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment is always compliant with applicable standards.
• Reviewing corrective maintenance activities and liaising with quality personnel to evaluate potential equipment/product risks.
• Managing facility upkeep and all utilities.
• Providing support in emergencies, unplanned breakdowns, and repairs.
• Developing and maintaining an equipment risk management system.
• Developing and managing an equipment/spare parts business continuity plan.
• Supporting implementation of new investment projects and/or machine upgrades.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering with a minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
• Desire to develop skills and knowledge in a fast-paced business environment.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector will be considered an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be highly organized and skilled in time management.
• Be self-motivated and results-driven.

 
Package:

• Salary: €42,000 - €47,000 with annual salary reviews at end of each year
• Performance bonus at a maximum of 10% of annual gross salary
